This week will be perfect to enjoy outdoor recreational activities and green areas, as summer days and high temperatures are expected. Therefore, some proposals are:

On Monday, as it will be the only day of unstable weather, you may opt to visit the historical center of Buenos Aires. Then at night, a place highly recommended is “Antares”, a great restaurant offering more than seven different craft beers. You can also enjoy the typical Argentine chopped and a great international cuisine. Located at Armenia 1447.

On Tuesday, you can visit the Port of Fruits and enjoy a barbecue in the sun and near the Delta of Tigre. In the evening, “Volver” offers a wonderful dinner tango show.

On Wednesday you may know the famous “Playitas de Olivos”, a green space outdoors by the la Plata river. Where you can sunbathe, enjoy music and bars along the river. Located at Vicente López, Avenida Libertador and the river. At night, you may dine at “Red Resto and Lounge” an elegant restaurant in Puerto Madero, a place to enjoy and taste the finest French cuisine. Very good service and first class dinner. Located at Dock 2, Rosario Vera Peñaloza 360.

For the great sunshine day that is expected on Thursday, a place that you cannot fail to know is Peru Beach, one of the largest outdoor recreational complexes. One of the most recommended and also frequented one. It is a place along the Rio la Plata where you can practice windsurf, play football, hockey, do rock climbing, among other things. It also has very good music, a great restaurant, bars and gym. To end a full day of activity and fun, a friendly and relaxed place to enjoy great service and abundant italian cuisine. “Rosmarino”, located at Recoleta, Pasaje Schiaffino 2183.

A good alternative for Friday are the forests and lakes of Palermo, where you can visit the Rose Garden, go on boating trips and sunbathe. Moreover, the Japanese Garden offers a great option for lunch at its restaurant. You can also visit and have fun at the Zoo of Buenos Aires. At night, a great place is “Brujas“(Witches), to taste delicious pizzas and fabulous drinks. A place to enjoy the best Latin and ’80s music until dawn. Located at Plaza Serrano.

La Boca or San Telmo are two of the most historic neighborhoods in Buenos Aires and are two of the most recommended ones on weekends as they offer craft fairs, artists, museums, cafes and dance, folk, tango and musical free shows on the street. Moreover, on Saturday evenings one of the most popular places is “Kika Club” at Palermo Soho, Honduras 5539. A great disco with a great menu of drinks, live shows and very good music.

To end the week, as Sunday will be a great day with clear skies, you can take advantage and enjoy the wonderful Temaiken Zoo. At night, you can opt for a first level grill, “El Mirasol of Recova”, one of the most renowned restaurants in the city, located at Posadas 1032, Recoleta.

    I love your suggestions. I have reservations with you for December 23 - 28. I am looking for ideas on where to spend “noche buena”. We are a family group of 5 adults. What are your suggestions?
