“Chronicles of an American Passion” - Joaquin Ezequiel Linares.

Linares was born in Buenos Aires, he is a brilliant man and an artist of great category. His works are recognized by the power of color. Furthermore, his productions stand out because of a unique combination, which characterizes his works, between satire and drama, beauty and cruelty.

The exhibition offers a journey through the different aesthetic stages and plastic techniques.

Until March 7th at the Museum of Fine Arts Eduardo Sivori.

Theater - Knowing Buenos Aires City

Throughout the year the city offers you a fun and new way to discover its corners and its history. 

It consists on dramatized tours, four tour options, where great artists recreate the history of each particular point, with the aim of making the public know the city’s history in an entertaining way and having the sensation of traveling in time.

The places to visit are:

1 - Victoria Square: a journey back 200 years to the colonial times and the political and social life of Buenos Aires in the nineteenth century. You will be able to know the customs of those times, the ideas of the patriotic groups who carried out the May Revolution, the conflicts between natives and Spanish and what is more, you will be able to recreate and participate in the swore of May 25th.

2 - Roberto Arlt: This option is to enjoy an afternoon with this brilliant writer, familiarize with its history, its life, the places he frequented and discover the secrets that generate his inspiration for literature. You will know the masion in Flores where he lived for a short time in the early twentieth century.

3 - San Telmo Ghosts: A paranormal experience through the hidden history of this neighborhood. This is the oldest historic area in the city whose streets and houses keep the memories of those who lived there years ago. Anyone who accepts this challenge you will able to hear and know stories about murders, plagues, love, among other things that happened in this place.

4 - Immigrants: This last proposal is to pass on and show you the uses and customs of our parents and grandparents who migrated to Buenos Aires in the late nineteenth century and brought with them dreams, projects, ideologies, customs, languages and the best music from different regions in the world. The aim is to understand our lifestyle today, our customs and traditions that descended from these early settlers who arrived at the neighborhood of La Boca.
